SUMMARY:

Will research, develop, design, and validate hardware, software, and other components for systems used in large underground equipment. Focus is on automated vehicle design in an R&D environment. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years of Systems Engineering and / or software experience in an engineering environment
  • Software programming tools, e.g. Linus, CoDeSys, C++. etc.
  • Communication protocols, e.g. RS232, CanOpen, J1939, etc.
  • Wireless telemetry such as used in surface mining industry
  • Hardware and computing platforms
  • System modeling techniques and software, e.g. Matlab, Simulink
