ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

A DIRECT-HIRE POSITION with Excellent Benefits

SALARY RANGE: $60K - $90K

SUMMARY:

Will be responsible for analyzing financial information with respect to balance sheet accounts and profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to reporting standards. Prepares sales tax returns for multiple states. Maintains fixed asset system and reconciles bank accounts. Analyzes accounts payables and assists controller with preparation of balance sheets and profit & loss statements and helps prepare internal and external audits.

Directly supervises AP & AR teams while maintaining procedural and quality standards and deadlines. Will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training personnel, assigning and overseeing work, conducting performance reviews, and disciplining and rewarding  employees.

  

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 3-5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years of experience preferred
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Supervisory or management experience very important
  • Excel proficiency to include 7-10 skills, i.e. data sets, building queries, complex formulas and pivot tables
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a strong team player and self-starter

  • Computer knowledge including spreadsheets and word processing
  • Experience with these operations is helpful: CNC Turret Punch Press, CNC Laser, CNC Press Brake, Welding, CNC Machining, Powder Coating, Assembly

SUMMARY:

Responsible for supervising team in the logistics / warehouse facility. Responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing daily warehouse activity while maintaining company productivity and quality goals. Will be in charge of Receiving, Inventory Control, Order Picking and Shipment.

Manage daily schedules and organize resources to ensure on time delivery, receipts and shipments. Offer suggestions for improvement of warehouse process. Schedule equipment repairs to maintain safety. Conduct audits and correct substandard performance. Maintain OSHA compliance on local, state and Federal level. Ensure employee training and coaching is continuous to meet company standards.

 The ideal Warehouse Supervisor would have Distribution and Manufacturing Experience, 5-10 years of work experience, B.S. degree, Good Presentation Skills, Good ERP Skills. 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree and 5 years of Logistics/Warehouse experience OR equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Able to lift up to 25lbs and up to 75lbs with aid
  • Overnight travel may be required on occasion
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to obtain forklift certification
  • Pass drug screening
  • Pass background check

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR: WOOD PROCESSING

Must be flexible and open to first or second shift

  First Shift:       6am - 4pm

  Second Shift:  5pm - 3:30am 

 

SUMMARY:

Will be working under the direction of the Production Manager, supervising about 30 employees per shift in a wood manufacturing plant. Will be responsible for employee discipline , holding employees accountable, placing the right people in appropriate jobs, cross training. Support Plant Safety Awareness. Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in related discipline or industry training preferred.
  • 2+ years of production supervisory experience
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Wood manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • 2 years of experience with plant safety training
  • Very knowledgeable in OSHA standards and compliance
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience preferred
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of MS Office programs

Additional qualifications desirable:

Forklift certification, First Aid, Confined Space, Fall Arrest, Heavy Equipment Operator, Train the Trainer certification.

    SHIP CHECKERS

    SUMMARY:

    Seeking former Navy personnel to conduct ship checks on Navy vessels in support of Planners Work Item development. Retired Navy personnel with a background as Hull Technician, Engineman, Machinist Mate, Gas Turbine Technician, or Machinery Repairman. Former Navy Chief would be ideal for this leadership and experience role.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Physical ability to climb ladders and work on Navy vessels in all weather conditions
    • Extensive knowledge of Navy ship compartmentation and layout
    • Able to read and understand Work Notification and determine scope of work
    • Knowledge of MS Office and Adobe programs, incl. databases and spreadsheets
    • Familiar with Standard Drawing Indexes, blueprints, system diagrams, EOSS, CSOSS, and other technical publications
    • Extensive knowledge of Navy Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical systems 
    • 10% overseas travel expected. Must be able to obtain a passport, CAC and/or DBIDs pass
    • Must have a Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one
